EXPEDITION 002 / THE SIGNAL0 from home

ORBITAL. Expedition 002: Somebody out here is still transmitting.

01 / HOME ORBIT

Somebody out here is still transmitting.

Vesper Station has heard the same pulse for seventy-two hours. It isn’t coming from anywhere we know. Lock onto it, then follow it out.

Then scroll to set out. Drag the view, or use the arrow keys, to look around.

HOW THIS WAS MADE

Built to be played, not just scrolled.

Everything on the voyage is drawn live in your browser with Three.js r187 on WebGPU: a procedural world, a ringed giant whose rings and planet shadow each other, a ray-marched nebula, a pulsar’s sweeping beams, and a black hole that bends light ray by ray. No video, no pre-rendered frames.
